Rental Rates

Standard Scooters Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs. Heavy Duty mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability. All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage. Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Manual Wheelchairs Manual wheelchairs are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests and comfortable plastic handrims for comfortable operation. Elevating footrests are included on all chairs. Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Venue Information - Colorado Convention Center (Denver, CO)

With the Colorado Convention Center's 2.2 million square feet of event space, an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure that you are able to see as much of the convention as possible. And what's more, you can use your scooter to visit some of the attractions that the city has to offer such as the Denver Art Museum, United States Mint, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Zoo and much more.

Directions:

The Colorado Convention Center is located in downtown Denver at 700 14th Street (the closest major intersection is Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard), there are several entrances into the facility, but the most common entrances are located off of 14th Street between Stout and California Street. If you need further assistance with the directions to the facility, please call (303) 228-8000.

• From Denver International Airport - Go North on TERMINAL RETURN towards PENA Boulevard. Take PENA Boulevard to I-70 WEST. Proceed on I-70 West to I-25 SOUTH, then take Speer Blvd. South (EXIT 212A). Turn left at Stout St. From Stout Street, turn right on 14th Street and proceed to the facility entrances located on 14th Street between Stout and California Street. The entrance to our parking garage is located on northbound Speer Blvd. between Stout Street and Champa.
• From Boulder or Northern Colorado - Take the US-36 East ramp towards DENVER. Take I-25 SOUTH/I-76 WEST/US 87 SOUTH RAMP towards Denver. Merge onto I-25 SOUTH/US 87 SOUTH RAMP. Take I-25 SOUTH, take Speer Blvd. South (EXIT 212A). From Speer Blvd. South, turn left at Stout St. From Stout Street, turn right on 14th Street and proceed to the facility entrances located on 14th Street between Stout and California Street. The entrance to our parking garage is located on northbound Speer Blvd. between Stout Street and Champa.
• From Southern Colorado or the Denver Tech Center - Take I-25 NORTH then take the US-40/Colfax AVE East exit, exit number 210A. Merge onto COLFAX AVE going EAST. Merge into the left hand lane. Turn left at Kalamath Street. Kalamath Street becomes Stout St as it crosses over Speer Blvd. From Stout Street, turn right on 14th Street and proceed to the facility entrances located on 14th Street between Stout and California Street. The entrance to our parking garage is located on northbound Speer Blvd. between Stout Street and Champa.
• From West Metro Denver - Take I-70 East and Merge onto I-25 South. Take I-25 SOUTH, to Speer Blvd. South (EXIT 212A). Take Speer Blvd. South and turn left at Stout St. From Stout Street, turn right on 14th Street and proceed to the facility entrances located on 14th Street between Stout and California Street. The entrance to our parking garage is located on northbound Speer Blvd. between Stout Street and Champa.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

• Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
• Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
• Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
• Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
• Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
