Rental Rates

Standard Scooters Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs. Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability. All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage. Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Manual Wheelchairs Manual wheelchairs are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests and comfortable plastic handrims for comfortable operation. Adjustable elevating footrests are included on all chairs. Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Venue Information - Baltimore Convention Center

With the Baltimore Convention Center's 1.2 million total square feet, an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure that you are able to see as much of the convention as possible. And what's more, you are free to use your scooter to visit all of the attractions that Baltimore has to offer such as the National Aquarium, Port Discovery, American Visionary Art Museum, the Fort McHenry National Monument and much more.

Driving Directions

• From New York - 95 south to exit #53 (395 south - downtown exit). Follow 395 south towards inner harbor. Proceed on 395 south and make a right at the 3rd light which is Pratt Street. The convention center will be on the right.
• From Washington, DC. & Alexandria, VA - 95 north to exit #53 (395 north - downtown exit). Follow 395 north towards Inner Harbor, proceed on 395 north and make a right at the 3rd light which is Pratt Street. The convention center will be on the right.
• From the Baltimore Washington International Airport - Take Interstate 95 north to Interstate 395 Downtown. Proceed straight off of the exit onto Howard Street. Make a right onto Pratt Street. The Convention Center will be on the right side of the street.
• From Baltimore's Penn Station - Proceed to the exit and make a right onto St. Paul Place. Proceed on St. Paul Place approximately 3 miles making a right onto Conway Street. Take Conway to Howard. Make a right onto Pratt Street. The Convention Center will be on your right.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

• Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
• Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
• Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
• Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
• Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
