The above rates are applicable for rentals at your event. If you require a rental for use before or after the event, please speak with a Scootaround operator prior to booking.

Two forms of coverage are offered at an additional cost; Equipment Protection and Cancellation Protection.
Rental rates are subject to change based on availability. Guarantee your rates and your equipment by booking early!
Your equipment may be taken offsite as required with the full daily rate applying regardless of time the equipment is returned the following day (e.g. If you rent a scooter on Monday and return it Tuesday at noon, a 2-day charge will apply). If a scooter is taken offsite overnight, you (the customer) will be responsible for the charging the equipment and you will also need to purchase Damage and Loss Coverage.

Standard Scooters

Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs.
Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability.
All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage.
Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance.

Manual Wheelchairs

Manual wheelchairs are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs.
Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests and comfortable plastic handrims for comfortable operation.
Adjustable footrests are included on all chairs.
Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable.
Models may vary from picture shown here.

Standup Scooters

Vertical ride (standing) scooter suitable for a maximum weight capacity of 300lbs.
Simple 3-wheel design means instant riding
Adjustable handlebars suitable for all rider heights
Secure platform absorbs bumps for added comfort
Hand brakes and horn included for safety
6mph riding speed, (similar to a standard electric mobility
scooter)

Scooter Canopy

Provides shelter from sun and heat and light rain.
Shade attaches to seatrails and swivels with the seat.
Canopy detaches easily for transport.
Rear utility basket for carrying personal items.
Basket has cover for secure item storage.
Not suitable for indoor use.

Equipment Pickup Location

Scootaround rental equipment can be obtained from three Convenient OCCC Locations, depending on the rooms and buildings where your particular event is being held. Please review the following three locations and speak with a Scootaround operator about your equipment pickup location when booking your order.

West Concourse - Level II - The Scootaround West Concourse - Level II location is open year-round and operates in partnership with the FedEx Office Business Center directly across from the Food Court in the West C Lobby.

North Concourse - Level II - The Scootaround North Concourse - Level II location is open during North Building events only. The rental booth operates in partnership with the FedEx Office Business Center located on the West end of the building near the entrance to the South Walkway on Level II.

Venue Information - Orange County Convention Center

With the Orange County Convention Center's 2.1 million square feet of exhibit space (2nd largest in the nation), an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure that you are able to see as much of the convention as possible. And what's more, you can use your scooter to visit the many attractions that Orlando has to offer such as DisneyWorld, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, The Kennedy Space Center and much more.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
