Rental Rates

Transportable Scooters Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs. Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability. All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage. Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Standard Scooters Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 350lbs. Heavy Duty mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 500lbs. Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability. All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage. Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Manual Wheelchairs Manual wheelchairs are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests and comfortable plastic handrims for comfortable operation. Adjustable footrests are included on all chairs. Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable. Models may vary from picture shown here.

Venue Information - Orange County Convention Center (Orlando, FL)

With the Orange County Convention Center's 2.1 million square feet of exhibit space (2nd largest in the nation), an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure that you are able to see as much of the convention as possible. And what's more, you can use your scooter to visit the many attractions that Orlando has to offer such as DisneyWorld, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, The Kennedy Space Center and much more.

• From the Orlando International Airport (EAST) - Go west on SR 528 to exit 1 (International Drive); Go north (right) approximately one mile to Convention Center; The West Building parking lot can be accessed by turning left at Convention Way (south entrance), Exhibit Drive (north entrance) or following Westwood Boulevard/West Entrance Drive (west entrance); The North/South Building parking lot can be accessed by turning right at the South Concourse sign or continuing north on International Drive and turning right onto Convention Way and following to Universal Boulevard, turn right onto Universal Boulevard.
• From Daytona Beach or Downtown Orlando (NORTHEAST) - Take Interstate 4 west to the SR 528 exit (Exit 72); Travel east on SR 528 to exit 1 (International Drive); North (right) approximately one mile to Convention Center; From International Drive, the West Building parking lot can be accessed by turning left at either Convention Way (south entrance) or Exhibit Drive (north entrance). From Westwood Boulevard, the west entrance is accessible via West Entrance Drive; The North/South Building parking lot can be accessed by turning right at the South Concourse sign or continuing north on International Drive and turning right onto Convention Way and following to Universal Boulevard, turn right onto Universal Boulevard.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

• Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
• Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
• Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
• Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
• Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
