Rental Rates

The above rates are applicable for rentals at your event. If you require a rental for use before or after the event, please speak with a Scootaround operator prior to booking.

After the event start date, rental requests will be handled on a walk-up basis, subject to equipment availability. Guarantee your equipment by booking early!
Two forms of coverage are offered at an additional cost; Equipment Protection and Cancellation Protection.
Rental rates are subject to change based on availability. Guarantee your rates by booking early!
A minimum 3-day rental and/or an additional delivery may apply - please inquire when booking.
Your equipment may be taken offsite after the event, however the full daily rate will apply regardless of what time the equipment is returned the following day (e.g. If you rent a scooter on Monday and return it Tuesday at noon, a 2-day charge will apply).
If a scooter is taken offsite overnight, you (the customer) will be responsible for charging the equipment.
Equipment Protection and Cancellation Protection are mandatory for all equipment take offsite from the event venue.

Standard Scooters

Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs.
Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability.
All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage.
Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance.

The scooters can be picked up at the Scootarond booth located in the East Hall of the complex.

Venue Information - The Hara Arena, Conference & Exhibition Center

The Hara Complex covers 165,000 square feet and consists of a main arena, four exhibition halls, a conference center, a pub, an on-site golf course and is surrounded by over 20 acres of onsite parking. Built on one level, we are accessible to the disabled. The complex is located within 15 minutes of Downtown Dayton, the Dayton International Airport, I-70 & I-75.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
