Rental Rates

	Standard Scooters Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs. Heavy Duty mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability. All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage. Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance. Models may vary from picture shown here.
	Manual Wheelchairs Manual wheelchairs are suitable for passengers weighing up to 250lbs. Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests and comfortable plastic handrims for comfortable operation. Elevating footrests are included on all chairs. Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable. Models may vary from picture shown here.
	Cary All Wagons Sturdy, yet lightweight plastic. Long handle for easy pulling. No-pinch handle joint to keep fingers safe. Ample room for five or six grocery-sized bags. Models may vary from picture shown here.
	Child Stroller Secure, durable construction for added safety. Large swivel casters with brakes. High seat back for safety and comfort. Adjustable shoulder straps for varying rider height. Perfect for older, taller children.

Scootaround will be operating a rental booth located at the Main Gate #1 (Route 9 entrance).

Venue Information - Dutchess County Fairgrounds

With the Dutchess County Fairgrounds large coverage area, a motorized scooter will ensure that the event is fully accessible to you. And what's more, you are free to use your scooter to visit other attractions that Rhinebeck and Dutchess County have to offer, such as the historic Sixteen Mile District, the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum, the Trevor Zoo, and much more.

Directions
The Fairgrounds is located on Route 9, Rhinebeck, New York.

• From the Taconic State Parkway: to Route 199 Exit. Exit at Route 199 (Red Hook, Rhinebeck). Turn left onto Route 199, heading west. After 4 miles, Route 199 will bear right at traffic light; go straight at that traffic light onto Route 308, continuing west. Route 308 will take you into Rhinebeck. At the traffic light in Rhinebeck, turn right onto Route 9, heading north. The entrance to the Fairgrounds is approximately 2 miles from that traffic light on the right (east).
• From the NY State Thruway (I87/I90): to Exit 19, Kingston. After paying toll, you will enter a traffic circle; take your first right off the traffic circle (Route 28). You will go through a traffic light and bear right on the exit for the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, Route 209, heading east. Crossing the bridge, the road changes to Route 199. After the bridge, at the second traffic light, turn right, heading south, onto Route 9G. In approximately 1 mile, you will come to another traffic light and the intersection of Route 9. Turn right onto Route 9, heading south. The Fairgrounds are located approximately 2 miles on your left.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

• Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
• Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
• Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
• Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
• Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
