- For convention rentals, your equipment
may be taken offsite as required with the full daily rate applying regardless
of time the equipment is returned the following day (e.g. If you rent
a scooter on Monday and return it Tuesday at noon, a 2-day charge will
apply). If a scooter is taken offsite overnight, you (the customer)
will be responsible for charging the equipment and you will also be
required to purchase Equipment Protection and Cancellation Protection.

- Many public facilities in Chicago, whether museums, parks, or theaters,
are wheelchair-accessible. Some attractions have tours or programs for people

Ground Transportation
Many subway stations can be difficult to navigate,
other than the major subway exchanges. Wheelchair riders are recommended
to use the public transit buses, most of which have wheelchair lifts and
"kneelers" at the front to facilitate getting on and off (bus
drivers will provide assistance). Reduced fares are available to disabled
passengers who display a valid Medicare card. Visitors to the city are also
eligible for the same Access-a-Ride program benefits as local residents.
Drivers with disabilities may use windshield cards from their own state
or Canadian province to park in designated handicapped spaces.

Service - Greyhound - Greyhound drivers, customer service

times as reasonably requested. They can help whether you are traveling

Service - Pace - Pace is the premier suburban transit provider
in Chicago and provides wheelchair accessible service on all of its fixed
routes. Buses are accessible and equipped with the ability to kneel or
lower; with either low floor ramps or lifts. Major stops, landmarks, and
intersections are either announced by an automated stop announcement system
or the bus operator. Buses feature wheelchair securement areas and priority
seating for senior citizens and people with disabilities near the front
of the bus. Optional lap belts and shoulder harnesses will be offered

Service - Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) - CTA's train system

- Train Service - Metra Rail - Metra is the commuter
rail agency serving Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, Kane and McHenry counties
in the Chicago area. It is the sister agency to the Chicago Transit Authority,
which provides mass transit rail (the L) and bus service to Chicago and
some suburbs, and Pace, which provides bus service primarily in the suburbs.
All train lines in the Metra system, plus the South Shore Line operated
by the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, are fully accessible
to customers with disabilities. Metra has modified rail cars and made
accessible most of its busiest train stations to accommodate individuals
with hearing, vision, and mobility disabilities. Train service for customers
with disabilities spans all six counties in metropolitan Chicago.

roadways for active loading and unloading of passengers with disabilities.
