Rental Rates

• Damage and cancellation insurance is available for all rentals at an additional cost.
• A minimum 3-day rental must be processed for hotel deliveries in certain cities.
• Rental rates are subject to change based on availability at the time you place your order. As always, we suggest that customers book well in advance in order to guarantee the listed rates.

Scooter Information

Mobility Scooter (models may vary)

• Standard-weight mobility scooters are suitable for passengers weighing up to 300lbs.
• Models are offered with three or four wheels, depending on availability.
• All scooters are outfitted with front basket for easy convention material storage.
• Scooters include padded armrests and adjustable swivel seat for easy entrance.

Wheelchair Rental Information

Manual Wheelchair (models may very)

• Manual wheelchairs are available in various sizes with weight capacities up to 450lbs, depending on availability.
• Chairs are outfitted with padded armrests, footrests, and plastic handrims for comfortable operation.
• Chairs are lightweight and maneuverable.

Venue Information - Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

With the Morial Convention Center's 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space, an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure that you are able to see as much of your event as possible. And what's more, you are free to use your scooter to visit all of the attractions that New Orleans has to offer such as the Aquarium of the Americas, National D-Day Museum, the Jazz Walk of Fame, Jackson Square and much more.

Driving Directions

From the East:

• Take I-10 West to Exit 234C (West Bank/Highway 90). Continue on Highway 90 (the Riverfront Expressway) and exit right at Tchoupitoulas/South Peters Street. This is the last exit before crossing the bridge.
• On ground level, stay in the left lane and go to the fourth stop, which is Convention Center Boulevard. You will see the Convention Center Expansion in front of you. Turn left on Convention Center Boulevard. The Convention Center is on your right, at 900 Convention Center Boulevard.
• Parking is available at the Fulton Street Garage, 901 Convention Center Boulevard, (504) 566-1010, and at Riverwalk, 800 Convention Center Boulevard, (504) 584-3994. The Convention Center has no parking of its own.

From the West:

• Take I-10 East to the West Bank/Highway 90 exit (do not continue on I-10 to Slidell). Stay in the right lane and exit right at Tchoupitoulas/South Peters Street. This is the last exit before crossing the bridge.
• On ground level, stay in the left lane and go to the fourth stop, which is Convention Center Boulevard. You will see the Convention Center Expansion in front of you. Turn left on Convention Center Boulevard. The Convention Center is on your right, at 900 Convention Center Boulevard.
• Parking is available at the Fulton Street Garage, 901 Convention Center Boulevard, and at the Riverwalk, 800 Convention Center Boulevard. The Convention Center has no parking of its own.

Rental Guidelines

Your electric scooter is a state-of-the-art device designed to increase your mobility and enhance your travel experience. Please be aware that the correct care and operation of the scooter is your responsibility. If you are unsure how to operate the scooter, please ask your Scootaround representative for assistance prior to operating the vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with operating the scooter in crowded areas such as a convention or a tradeshow, please take some added time to practice the safe operation of the vehicle. Here are some further points to consider:

• Always use added caution when driving in a crowded area.
• Equipment must not be used in wet or muddy areas.
• Equipment must not be driven on sharp inclines or declines.
• Scooter and Powerchair users must be 18 years or age or older.
• Operation of the equipment by persons other than the assigned renter is prohibited.
