About
the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association
The CMTA is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 whose
goals are patient support, public education, promotion of
research and ultimately the treatment and cure of CMT. With
currently more than 15,000 patients and families, supportive
friends, and medical professionals in its database, the mission
of the CMTA is to generate the resources to find a cure, to
create awareness, and to improve the quality of life for those
affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth. Their vision is a world without
CMT. To learn more about the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association,
please visit their website at: www.charcot-marie-tooth.org.
