Foundation to Provide Mobility Scooters for Individuals in Need
Nationwide mobility rental company proud to support our special community

March 3, 2006 - Las Vegas, NV - Individuals who require the use of a mobility scooter for everyday life will soon have an opportunity to receive a scooter at no cost through the Clarence Vincent Foundation (CVF). Named after the father of Scootaround's CEO, Lee Meagher, the foundation donates mobility scooters to qualified applicants who apply through one of the foundation's partnering organizations.

Scooters Hope to Help Stroke Survivors Move Around With Ease
Partnership allows NSA to provide limited number of free scooters to stroke survivors

March 1, 2006 - Englewood, CO – Throughout the year, National Stroke Association (NSA) in a partnership with the Clarence Vincent Foundation will give away five electric scooters to stroke survivors who are experiencing some level of difficulty getting around. These scooters are intended to allow the stroke survivor to move around with added control, comfort and self-confidence.
